We had such a great experience here! Getting my son’s haircut is usually very challenging — he screamed the entire time — but Ameerah was absolutely amazing. She was so patient, calm, and polite from start to finish. She never seemed frustrated and handled everything with so much kindness and understanding. Even with how tough it was, she still managed to give him a great haircut, and I’m so thankful for the care she showed us. The other workers were also so kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel supportive instead of stressful. It truly means so much to find a place that treats families with this much compassion and professionalism. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you all so much! 💙

I made a birthday appointment for my daughter at Sharkey’s with Ameerah and had an incredible experience! Our original plan was to have my daughter’s ears pierced but we added a haircut as well. Ameerah washed my daughter’s hair, gave her a very clean and detailed hair cut, then gave her the most beautiful braids I have ever seen. The ear piercing experience was amazing. My daughter just turned 8 and has been talking about getting her ears pierced for over a year but wasn’t sure she was ready yet. I am so glad I brought her here. She was nervous at first but after her hair she was completely comfortable, calm, and ready. She was shocked by how quick and painless it was! She picked very cute earrings and was so happy. Nail painting was included with her cut so it felt like a mini spa day just for her! Great experience, thank you Ameerah!

I just took my four-year-old son here for his first real haircut, and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this place!!!! He’s had little trims at home before, but this was his first official haircut, and the experience completely exceeded every expectation. The ladies here are absolutely phenomenal, especially Irini genuinely one of the kindest, most patient stylists I’ve ever met. From the moment we walked in, she took the time to explain everything to my son before doing it. She showed him each tool, let him feel the buzzer on his hand first, and reassured him that it was safe and wouldn’t hurt. Because of her calm and gentle approach, my son had zero fear he was actually excited the entire time! Her patience, warmth, and understanding with a young child made all the difference. You can tell she truly cares about kids and wants them to have a positive experience. On top of that, the haircut itself was perfect. My son has curly hair, and it had gotten so long that it was weighing his curls down. Irini really listened to me, heard exactly what I was hoping for, and absolutely nailed it. When we got home and he took a quick shower, his curls bounced back beautifully exactly how I’ve been wanting them to look for so long. He looks AMAZING. This place turned what could have been a stressful “first haircut” into a fun, confidence-boosting, wonderful memory for both of us. We will 100% be coming here for all future haircuts. I cannot recommend Irini and this salon enough truly the best experience we could have hoped for! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
